Reports say that lawmakers will vote on the bill as early as Wednesday, April 25th or Thursday, April 26th. It isn’t looking very good. It is of utmost importance that you contact your local representatives to tell them that you do not agree with this bill and they shouldn’t either. Make your voice heard. Don’t know who your representatives are? Just use this.
It takes maybe five minutes of your time to do this — make the effort. It will certainly be worth it.

Some people might not want to realize what is right in front of them but understanding the truth is part of what we must achieve to grow, we can’t know whats right or wrong through speculation at that point is all a guess, we must experience true darkness before we know what its is. Growth is not experienced through the high points of life but through its lows we must face true darkness, true failure, true discontent before we know what kind of person we really are. Only when there is a mirror in front of us can we truly see what we are.

Right now, the biggest oil companies are raking in record profits—profits that go up every time folks pull up into a gas station. But on top of these record profits, oil companies are also getting billions a year—billions a year in taxpayer subsidies—a subsidy that they’ve enjoyed year after year for the last century.
Think about that. It’s like hitting the American people twice. You’re already paying a premium at the pump right now. And on top of that, Congress, up until this point, has thought it was a good idea to send billions of dollars more in tax dollars to the oil industry.
